GARDEN INTERN & BEEKEEPING HELPER

Family-owned Pu’u O Hoku Ranch manages the precious forest, agricultural and pristine conservation lands on the east end of Molokai and is working on building a bountiful land economy.

Our central business is a Retreat Center, for which our biodynamic garden is a central asset. To continue to enhance the garden and program as a whole, we are offering an internship to an energetic, self-motivated, cheerful, ORGANIC GARDEN INTERN & BEEKEEPING HELPER.

You will have the opportunity to sow, grow, and prepare fresh vegetables for our kitchen, CSA-style veggie bags, stock the Molokai Food Hub, and support our educational programs. We will also ask that you spend a day or two a week helping our organic & biodynamic honeybee program. Helping our beekeeper with hive splits and harvesting and bottling of honey. We welcome self-motivated people, with a can-do attitude who are interested in learning and bring new ideas infused with respect for local customs and traditions and the social skills to work well as part of a diverse team.

Pu’u O Hoku is situated at the very remote and subtropical east end of Molokai. We will provide you with a simple, single-bed cabin with a shared stocked kitchen, shared bathroom and a modest stipend. The Pu’u O Hoku team works with an untiring commitment to care for the land that we hold in trust.

We are looking for a 6 month commitment with flexible time off.  To join a dedicated, diverse team please apply with a letter of interest and experience, resume and references to:
